CHICAGO - After nearly two weeks of game postponements due to positive COVID cases, the Windy City Bulls came back Sunday January 9, 2022 with a decisive win against the Delaware Blue Coats, 125-83. The Windy City Bull's 38-point margin of victory was tied for the second-largest in team history. The team grabbed an early lead in the first quarter. Rookie guard Ethan Thompson (5) hit 11 points in the first quarter, contributing to Windy CIty's wide lead of 40-28 after the opening 12 minutes. Windy City maintained its momentum in the second quarter, going into halftime with a score of 67-48. Center Oturu (25) was top scorer in the first half with 15 points. Windy City's lead stretched to 49 points with 5:32 left in the fourth quarter. Guard Scottie Lindsey scored 22 points, center Daniel Oturu added 22 points andThompson finished with 21 points.

The Chicago Bears ended their season January 2, 2022, with a resounding win against the New York Giants, and Bears Linebacker Robert Quinn (94) broke Hall of Famer Richard Dent’s single-season record of 17 sacks set in 1984 when when he brought down Giants Quarterback Mike Glennon (2), jarring the ball loose in the fourth quarter, his 18th sack of the game. The Bears defense held the Giants to a field goal in the 2nd quarter, and the Bears offense scored two touchdowns in the 1st quarter, and another touchdown in the 2nd quarter. A 2nd quarter two point conversion and a 3rd quarter touchdown led to the final score of Chicago Bears 29 - New York Giants 3. This two day event features 35 of the world's top Bull Riders, striving to stay atop a bucking bull for at least 8 seconds in order to score points, measured in the fractions of a second that the rider can stay on the bulls back, holding the rope with one hand and not touching the bull with his free hand.
Stetson Lawrence of Williston, North Dakota) went 3-for-3 inside Allstate Arena to win the second premier series event of his career at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Tractor Supply Co. Invitational, the third elite Unleash The Beast event of the 2022 season. Lawrence, who last won an elite series event in Thackerville, Oklahoma, in 2017 and was sidelined for majority of 2021 due to reconstructive shoulder surgery and a broken neck, has been resurgent in 2022. Fresh off a Top 25 effort in New York City, Lawrence began his Windy City campaign with an eighth-place effort in Round 1, covering Street Fighter (C Check Bucking Bulls) for 86 points. The Native American sensation was then unstoppable as Championship Saturday got underway. Lawrence, whose nickname is “The Firewalker,” first brought the boisterous crowd to its feet when he won Round 2 via an 89.75-point ride aboard Bottom’s Up (TCB Ranch/K-C Bucking Bulls). The score allowed Lawrence to climb to second on the event leaderboard and garner the second pick in the championship round bull draft.Lawrence opted to go head-to-head with Big Black (K-C Bucking Bulls/Joe & Nina Webb), the very bull aboard which Daylon Swearingen (Piffard, New York) won the previous elite tour event in Chicago.Lawrence remained poised as he climbed aboard the back of the renowned animal athlete. Matching Big Black jump-for-jump, Lawrence clinched the second golden finish of his career when he reached the requisite 8 for an event-best 91 points.The 90-point score was the fourth of Lawrence’s career on the premier series and first since February 2018.
A total of 34 of the 35 participants returned for Day 2 of this Bull Riders competition. The highest point getters competed for the Championship.
These bulls showed they meant business, many bucking off their riders before they could barely leave the gate.

The Windy City Bulls, The NBA G-League team for the Chicago Bulls, faced an evenly matched foe on Tuesday night, January 18, 2022, as the Raptors 905 remained neck and neck with the Windy City Bulls, each team taking turns taking the lead in the first half of the game. The Windy City Bulls finally pulled ahead in the third quarter and maintained a 10 point lead in the final minutes of the game. Daniel Oturo (24) was the games top scorer with 26 points, followed by Windy City Bulls' Scottie Lindsey (15) with 24 points.
CHICAGO - Fans at Soldier Field watched an outstanding performance by Bears Quarterback Justin Fields, who ran for 178 yards, the most by any NFL quarterback in a regular-season game. He scrambled for the longest touchdown run of any Bears quarterback - 61 yards. He threw three scoring passes. But despite this stellar performance, Miami manage to snatch victory from the Bears, thanks to three touchdown passes by Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who completed 21 of 30 passes for 302 yards without an interception.
Fields completed 17 of 28 passes for 123 yards, with two touchdowns to Cole Kmet and one to Darnell Mooney. His performance kept the Bears in the game, trailing just three points behind the Dolphins in the fourth quarter. But with just under three minutes remaining in the game, on fourth and 10 at the 42 yard line, Field's threw an incomplete pass to Equanimeous St. Brown, sealing Chicago's fate Sunday November 6, 2022 for a fifth loss in six games.

CHICAGO- Nikola Vucevic (9) matched a career high with 43 points and the Chicago Bulls ended an 11-game losing streak against Golden State, beating the Warriors 132-118 on Sunday January 15 at the United Center.
Chicago beat Golden State for the first time since March 2, 2017.

Chicago Bulls point guard Ayo Dosunmu played a significant role in the Sunday January 15th victory of the Bulls over the Golden State Warriors, ending the game with 12 points, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 1 rebound, and proving himself to be a top tier point guard for the NBA. Here, the 23 year old native of Illinois sinks one of his 12 baskets for the winning game. Packers' Mason Crosby kicked a 32 yard field goal to give Green Bay a 20-19 lead with just under five minutes left in the fourth quarter. Packers quarterback Roders led three fourth quarter scoring drives. Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander intercepted a pass by Justin Fields, setting it up for Packers wide receiver Christian Watson to run 46 yards for a touchdown in the closing minutes of the game. The Bulls performed. to a full house at the United Center on Saturday, December 10, 2022, winning a decisive victory against the Dallas Mavericks, 144-115. Chicago pulled ahead early in the game with a 10 point lead, ending the first quarter with a score of 40-30 and maintained the fast paced momentum for the next three quarters. Bulls' DeMar DeRozan scored 28 points, had nine rebounds, and five assists, while Bulls' Nikola Vucevic added 20 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in the Bull's winning effort. In the contest between man and beast, the beasts won nearly half of the battles in Day 1 of Unleash The Beast PBR Bull Riders Competition. A total of 22 of the 40 contenders had qualifying times with 8 or more seconds on the bull. Leading is 22 year old Mason Taylor with a score of 87.5
Day 1 of the PBR Competition ended with no significant injuries to the riders, bulls, or men on horseback. A total of 22 out of 40 contenders qualified to compete on Day 2 of the PBR Event to be held Saturday January 14, 2023 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.
